Maybe we should all chip in so Scav can buy him and retire him... I'll put up the first $100

Word that I got was that today wasn't a trainer spot but it was the owner spot, and I guess regardless of outcome, he was being retired. We'll see, because he was suppose to be retired after his first race here if you listen to everything on the internet

To my eyes, he didn't look comfortable in this last race because if he was 10% of the horse he once was, he would have cruised past that horse, and today was downright awful to see.

I offered to buy him before he was entered in the beaten claimer race and was never responded to.

Not really a whole lot lower he can go than that unless he hits Beulah or some State Fair circuit.

Unfortunetly Beulah would be next for this guy unless someone stepped up and did something about it.

I think the only thing that could be done would be just to claim him.....Both owner and trainer are delusional.

But seriously, nothing less should be expected. This is an owner that struck gold first time owning, then pissed away every penny that this horse made on 5 and 10k claimers with a **** trainer...Too bad this horse will end up suffering because of that

You can only hope he makes it on to another track, hopefully he doesn't break down - we don't need another Nopie situation

Scav, I know you know what to do here, you can get him if you really want to, you have the power of persuasion - want me to see if GEVA has room for one more? I'm going up there this weekend to see our boy, he's getting released to a bigger paddock soon. Can you believe it's been five months already?

Good luck!

p.s. If I win Megamillions tonight I'll claim him and he can come live with me on the horse farm that I'd buy
