Default SA 6th Breakdown

Man, there must have been a real serious breakdown as they are delaying the 7th race for ever. Hope everyone/horse is OK.

I'm not sure if the horse broke down. I think she may have just collapsed.

Just showed the horse being led off the track, it was the #2 Sweet N' Salty
he looks OK

I think you're right.. the 2 horse Sweet and Salty appeared to be exhausted and collapsed.

Didn't see the race but looked at the chart notes as a result of this thread. Appears she dueled to exhaustion and led until midstretch. Never fails to amaze me how gutsy some of these animals are.

Couldn't find anything recent on the web about the jock other than this article saying he was taken to the hospital. Anyone know how he is?

Garcia was hospitalized for precautionary and may be off his mounts for a week.

Yes, Garcia is off and the horse was shipped to Hollywood Park last night and is doing well.
