![]() Apparently it is a humanitarian award now. Maybe Bono should get it next year.

![]() Zenyatta 6/5-1-0, Blame 5/4-1-0....Zenyatta wins 5 grade 1's, Blame wins 4. Separated by a nose in BCC...could go either way!

![]() That is not his argument. He says that 60 Minutes and fans wearing shirts an holding signs means she should get it.

![]() Disappointing that he can't credit the deserving winner. In a way I can understand the love he has for his horse but it is a slap in the face to the connections of Blame.

![]() Um yes it can, the numbers dont lie. If Blame had won the Woodward, actually even ran in it, and performed better in the JCGC it would be lock city, he did not, so he is not lock city.

It's a weird deflation to have after a finish like that. I guess it really does feel to a lot of people like when Birdstone beat Smarty Jones. I do wanna congratulate Claiborne Farm for an amazing accomplishment with a homebred in their 100th year. I hope they threw a bit party back at the farm. They seemed to feel a bit guilty over the win, and when something like this happens they deserve an opportunity to break out the champagne. Now I'm sure the party to be at involved Goldikova's connections. Freddie thinks Goldi's better than Miesque and he would know, as he's the one who rode her back in the day. Amazing mare. Heck, Zenyatta deserves some champagne too. Someone go give Mike Smith a hug and an "it's not your fault" Good Will Hunting-style therapy session. |

There is no way someone can make an arguement that she is more deserving of the award over Blame for what they have done on the track THIS YEAR. |

There is no need to point out anything about a pointless discussion, you take shots all the time and I dont respond that way. Like in the NBA thread.... I have been keeping anything pointless to a minimum. I would be fine with Z winning HOY, no injustice would be done. |
