Default This Friday: World War III?

First it was eight days, now Israel "has three days" to strike Iran?

Anybody else freaking out?

Looks like I don't have to handicap this weekend's cards after all...

Their calls to prayer this month that occur during darkness in Tehran are 3:51am and 8:25pm. Translates to 7:21pm and 10:55am CST.

IMO This will be a surgical strike in the middle of the night that may kill a watchman or two.

Israel won't last a day if Iran already has nukes, so it will just be us versus Russia and Iran. Not exactly a great situation.

I personally believe that Isreal could wipe Iran off the face of the earth pretty quickly if they wanted to.

Like we aren't stretched a tad too thin in Iraq and Afghanastan fighting pointless wars. When a real need breaks out we are fecked. We should've let Iran and Iraq beat each other up and KO'd the winner.

exactly..

with all the tension with Russia, Iran, N Korea, China, etc..

if something real happens, which it very well could, our military is so battered and bruised from a dumb war with Iraq..

I'm starting to think we should just pull out of Afghanistan & let the taliban take back over. Taliban wasnt our problem to begin with. Al Queda is.

Leave the middle east & just fly drones over Paki / Afghan border and bomb the **** out of the mountains where bin laden and his thugs hang out.

Glad you have it all figured out. I'm not for either war at this point, but Afghanistan was always the bigger threat than Iraq. If the Taliban takes total control of Afghanistan, with the instability and nuclear capability of neighboring Pakistan, we're seriously screwed.

We will be USSR 2.0 soon

We arent even fighting a real war with purpose over there. Surely I cant be the only one who read McChrystals Rolling Stone article. I'll trust that view over anyone elses.

& the Taliban has as much control over there as any other group does. We dont even know how to fight them.

You can research every post I've ever made about Afghanistan. I know its importance & its always been the most important war.

I'm just now since the Rolling Stone article beginning to think we are hopeless over there & it is crippling our military.

Like with Russia, history always repeats itself.

My thoughts as soon as we went into afghanistan. Has there been war of some sort going on there for what a thousand years?

China will grudgingly side with the U.S. if things get too out of hand.

I love your idea. Bush should of let these two countries wipe each other off the face of the Earth.
