Default Just because you are pissed at the IRS,

doesn't mean you should do this..

Its interesting to see most all of the liberal posters on CNN.COM automatically label this guy as a "tea bagger" or white republican.

And then you actually read his suicide note and he promotes communism and rips into Bush.

How much you want to bet he gets labled a tea bagger in the press though?

so he was a teabagger posing as a Bush hating communist?

though his tirades against "taxation without representation" seem like a tea bag slogan.

While he is completely off his rocker.. he made valid points.. though damn, kill yourself in a way that wont injure or kill others if you feel that is the only way out..

Many or most tax payers continue to be screwed by Uncle Sam year after year, day after day.

I wonder if all the citizens decided to not pay their taxes anymore what would happen? Would we ALL go to jail?

I hear the workers had different shifts, so there weren't many people there at the time.

I heard people talking about this at work (and the keyword is "work") no one was saying this is all the fault of the tea party movement instead
everyone was sharing stories of IRS abuses and how there is no recourse.

just for the record no one at my work discussed this at all.

i hope if the conversation starts tomorrow it doesn't run along the lines here.

when you start sympathizing with people flying planes into buildings you've moved outside my comfort zone.

i guess i still need to get used to the idea that's a normal attitude.

God, I feel like there were some people who said that some other time someone flew a plane into a building.

Weird, I bet if the ethnicity and motivation were different that you might feel a little less "you go girl" about the whole thing.

I knew a guy with family that committed suicide in his 30's due to IRS money owed ... sad thing. It wasn't an insurmountable amount of money, he wasn't going to lose the house or the kids' college funds or anything. Nobody could figure out why he did it, other than he was completely stressed over it, felt the IRS was an immoveable wall, the penalties, etc.

I thought the IRS has become "kinder, gentler" lately? Or just grossly understaffed and unable to come after folks?

I dunno, in my own businesses, I have paid the IRS what and when I gotta, so I guess I've escaped any nightmare dealings with them.

So, was plane guy just one of many individuals that take the stand that they have no taxes to pay to the government, due to their interpretation of the Constitution, etc?

i didn't know anything about it til late afternoon when my husband mentioned it. what hasn't been brought up here is he also burned his house to the ground. i guess his wife and daughter had that coming?
i don't get why people these days want to take a group with them when they go. used to be that folks just offed themselves, now they want to go out in a blaze of glory.

wonder if the one irs employee is still missing? it didn't sound like they were holding out much hope for him.

as for the 'irs' having it coming-to those who said that...these guys are employees. they don't write the code. this would be similar to getting pissed at a meter maid because you parked illegally.

Hard to justify a criminal, murderous, selfish act....even implying that it was in any way justified is simply sick!
