![]() It really shouldn't matter how many of (pick whatever group - race, sex, etc) is chairing. They are all individuals after all - but, I will note that whomever has a given position seems to have it in perpetuity - sometimes for decades. That's strange to say the least for any republic having a legislative body.
It also would seem to go against the original intent of the Constitution. Calling this out because without that perpetual occupation of chairmanships, there would naturally be turnover, and people of all backgrounds would get a better shot. |
