John V just taken to first aid (according to TVG) and not hospital..BOTH horses somehow survived that?? Incredible

Great news....
Both horses are ok, Johnny V's horse clipped heels following the 9 drifting over on him. Then the 6 went down as well. Johnny V at first aid so far being treated, that sounds like a good sign, hopefully.

Theriot fine; Velaquez conscious, all extremities moving, vitals OK, taken to UK Trauma center (protocol for Kee) as a precaution.....

Just got home and missed the spill. Glad I did by the way some of you are talking about it.
Velaquez and Keeneland just don't get along. Remember the broken collarbone in the spring of '07? Happy to hear both horses and riders are OK.
