![]() Looking at the fractions of the race, one would assume thay they ran on the downhill turfcourse. Ive never seen fractions posted this fast other than down the hill. 20:4 43 1:06.4 final time of 1:13. I cant believe that these synthetic tracks can produce these insane times.

Sea of Pleasure broke his maiden with a track record time of 20 3/5ths in one of those 2yo MSW race at SA last year - he got his second quarter in 9 and change....and was ahead by a pole on the gallop out. It's one thing to run 20 3/5ths on natural dirt - but to do it in a racing situation without the aid of a big run-up is pretty impressive. |
