Default 5/31: BEL (P4); HOL ($125k C/O)

Took wince-inducing losses in anchor legs of both P4's Saturday after negotiating largely-logical opening troikas. Tagg nightcap winner at Belmont was an especially dumb omission given trainer angles that deserved attention. Churchill 11th runaway was OK as a contender on paper, and Borel miraculously continues to move horses up as a matter of course. The miscues were costly too, as Churchill's .50 quad brought back $484.40 in a sequence where the $2 parlay equaled $845, or about the P4. New York's parlay was $337 and the 4 returned $591 ($2). Hope you did OK despite my inability to close out the skiens.

All grass P4 at Belmont today and a $125,000 carryover at Hollywood to consider...

Steve,

Check you number on Hanna Can Fly I think she is the #8 rather than the #6.

That was a tough beat, I was covered to all but the 8 & 9 in the finale in either a Pick 3 or Pick 4. Oh well, today is another day - Go getem!

I know you keep cost at certain minimums but hope you get a scratch to allow inclusion of #9 Bob's...in the 9th at Holly a very likely bomb today to close out the sequence. Moving forward off the turn back at a distance at a distance he has won at after a race against winners......yum!!

Fourth choice for me... Would be nice to get him on the tix, as much for who the horse was named for as anything else. Bob Benoit was a famed and beloved West Coast track exec and publicity man that passed away last year.

difficult sequence at hollywood due to big fields. I dont see any major bombs but alot of mid-priced horses. This thing is gonna pay if you can hit it.

Steve, great job at Hollwood on the late pick 4, your on fire. Like everyone i'm in awe of the roll you have been on with the pick 4's but i am even more impressed how many embedded exacta, tri's and supers you have had in your picks. To me that proves this is not a fluke, your just plain good man! What a great handicapper. I'm glad to say i was along for the ride with you on thursday at Belmont with the double pick 4 payoff for $ 1,200 and today at Hollywood. Thanks for all of the hard work you put into your handicapping and into the radio show on sirius. If i make it up to Saratoga i am gonna buy you a BBQ sandwich, i hear some guy up there does a pretty good job with that as well hehe.

Nice work again Steve. On a sad note, not using the 13 in the last cost me the Pk6. I was alive to the 3,5 and 12. Got 2 consos on a 48$ ticket so not all was lost. Son of a..........
