Default 12/16: Hollywood (6th-10th)

Mary Hartman's 67-1 stunner Presious Passion blew apart everyone's P4 thoughts Saturday at Calder with an outstanding performance under Elvis Trujillo. Steve Crist had suggested in his DRF Blog that prior poor rides on the Royal Anthem gelding offered a value opportunity and he couldn't have been more precient. The 12 or so players using the $136.00 winner and that negotiated Redaspen, Paradise Dancer and Electrify ahead of him were rewarded with an $11,000 payday on the Quad...

Was pleased to have hinted at a handful of Saturday's Best Value performers as Redaspen ($18.60) and Zarb's Symphony ($28.00) won and Grace and Power (2nd at 13-1) ran admirably behind 1-1 Country Star in the Startlet. Hope you did well...

Second half of Sunday's Hollywood card caught my interest this a.m. as the snow piled up here in Upstate NY.

Rob Bob and Dave in the 7th has Talamo/Ellis and they've been hitting together at a 48% clip! Plus Ellis is good with 1st timers....I wouldn't take this first timer too lightly.

LWM,

It's a really good race.. Spankey Come Home in there too and his comebacker wasn't bad. A 2-1 Oceanography won't surprise me and a 32-1 El Falcon wouldn't either!

Good luck...

Default Race 6

Still waiting for the #3 Honette to show the form she did in her first two starts. Race could set up well for her...might sneak into the trifecta.
Will take Drysdale's other horse, Angel Craft on top.

Steve,
Nice Tri and Super. Being bored in the snow just became very profitable. Keep it rolling.

Pat, Matt, Tom, Gus..

Thx.. Even more than baseball, this really is 'a game of redeeming qualities'.. Thought Kalookan Boss was an imperative there.
