Late sextet sequence Wednesday at GP had 4 low priced results — all between 5-2 and 7-2 — and a pair of $30 winners. While that would make you think things were seemingly hittable, the multis proved tricky and paid great with returns of $5,071 (P4), $7,600 (P5) and $13,883 (P6)! While willing to use $29 nightcap winner Chia Spice (Best Value 3rd choice) in the P4 play, it was the kind of day where $6.40 Maracuya and $7.60 Heart and Pride eluded me in the pair of MSW events that began the skien. As I said to Johnny D, it felt like a day that had potential to be lucrative, but the way in which it played out to arrive at its’ generosity was different than anticipated. At least it was to me.
