The sequence proved trickier than it looked on paper repeatedly and even .60 Big Business wasn’t a breathe easy single as 12-1 Tug of War extended him completely down the stretch.

Best idea of the day on my end came via 23-1 Porvoo who just couldn’t emerge enough from the four horse scrum at the finish of the 9th and settled for the placement. The Jersey invader sported a favorite signal having jumped forward in his maiden-breaker which came making his turf debut. Sandwiched between the 2 top choices, Porvoo still tripped a $76 exacta and $376 tri.
