Obviously it is a character from both the novel and the movie, but I have to believe that far more people know the character through the movie than the book. The movie is widely considered one of the greatest movies of all time. Puzo's novel is not considered one of the greatest pieces of literature, nor should it be.
So if, for some reason, I had to pick one or the other, I would call Corleone a movie character. Huck Finn, on the other hand, I would call a literary character, despite the fact that there have been several movies made featuring the character.

He's also the sire of two time Breeders Cup Sprint champion Midnight Lute.

Check out the horse who beat Grindstone in his 3rd start.

That was Tiznow's full brother Budroyale.

He was a gelding that was all over the friggen map with his form.

Jay Robbins also trained him at first ... but he debuted him in like a Maiden Claiming race - I think for a 32K tag. And he got claimed from Robbins in his debut.

The horse went from claimer to promising 3-year-old Derby contender - to claimer - to stakes horse - to claimer again - to VERY good stakes horse running 2nd in the Breeders Cup Classic.

I have a few cuts of his form later on in his career ... but not on this computer. No luck with that one.

Getting down to the nitty gritty - but here's a lifetime form of a good horse.

Lasix moved him way up - or at least brought him back to life ... but he only ran on it once ...

Name him.

Correct.

Final two races were with Nick Zito.

The 'r' for the bar show I thought would give it away ... but Mike Smith's biggest fan would have got that one even if I blocked that.
