He took money. I glanced at the board and he was down to 8-1 at one point...

well what is your defenition of "everyone on him" , to me that would equate to 7/5 , 9/5 , or 2/1 something in that nature

i don't want to be rude steve but i got a good "push" on the horse from someone down in the sunshine state .... when i get "pushes" on 15/1 ml shots do you want me to keep them quiet or try to help the folks out a little

i promise no more west point overbet favorites , but, sometimes old gales can get a good one

I hear a lot of pushes and act on them almost never. Sometimes they are horses that win. Many times they lose. If it's a horse that I already like I'll be encouraged. If it's on a horse I don't like I'll wonder. Either way, I prefer my own opinion to inevitable racetrack chatter. Ideally, you find that certain people that tell you about a horse end up right about them more than they are wrong. And if you're smart, you still won't bet their suggestion on the basis of that suggestion alone. Betting even seemingly reliable toutings will undermine your own ability to reason and play.

Funny timing of this- In 2003 I took off work one day to go to the track and bet a Zito for Farmer steamer.

That horse? COMMENTATOR.
