For Oracle, What is the score now big mouth. LOL.

I almost want the Yankees to get to the WS though so Wagner can strike out Arod in game 7 with the bases loaded, 2 outs down a run.

Maybe next year the Yankees can spend $300 million.

The Mets making the World Series?? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Oh, wait, I gotta go, Willie's on the phone, he needs me to start Game 3!!!

Nostra might start game 3, I hope Nostra has a fastball.
Speaking of struggling, those Mets sure looked "great" yesterday hanging on for dear life didn't they?

Why is it so hard to believe that the Mets can reach the World Series? Who exactly is so good in the NL where the Mets cant rise above a pitching crisis and pull out some games? Aside from the Yankees, they are the only team that can score runs on a consistent basis. The rest of these teams have about as much offense as a Little League team.

You're right Gander, no team in the NL is too good or too bad, any could make the WS. I personally think it's going to be St. Louis. They have the offense and pitching and are playing pretty well right now. The Mets thinned out pitching staff will be their downfall.

Giambi and Sheff arent exactly lighting it up either. What, supplements dont help when the temp falls below 65?

Ol' Choke Artist is going to be the all time home run king by the time he retires.

Well, well.

Yankees can't beat Detroit in game 2.

Now they get to try to win having blown home-field advantage.

Yankee fans everywhere are banging their spoons on their high chair trays.

Signed,
Blame it all on A-Rod

Leyland, very smart guy for giving Verlander some time off, dude was dead tired and his arm was about to fall off towards the end, the two missed starts were huge for him.....

What do you mean, how do you lose to the Tigers? How did Secretariat lose to Onion? How did Man o' War lose to Upset?

The Tigers had two arms out there today who'd throw 101 mph, then 80 the next pitch. I don't care how good a hitter you are, that's not easy to hit. Tigers aren't exactly chump change.

Is that old fart Randy Johnson pitching or is he injured? You can count on him blowing a lead in Detroit if he's the starter.

Randy Johnson worked the Tigers earlier this month in NYC. He's also no-hit the Tigers in his career. I'm guessing he pitches well tomorrow night.

I'm the most bitter fan in history. I guess going my entire life rooting for the Lions and Tigers will do that for me.

S-Dirt,
I go back to the days of the Lions where we wore paper bags on our heads going to the Silverdome.

Heh. I don't go that far back, but I remember James Jones and Eric Hipple in the backfield. That was ugly.

Slot- I owe you and every Tiger fan an apology. I understimated you guys greatly. EIther that or I overestimated the Yankees.
Either way, sorry and believe me, I was rooting as hard for the Tigers as you guys were. I dislike the Yankees that much and anytime they lose is a pleasure to watch. Go Tigers!
