![]() Sunriver winning in a paceless race is a positive from where I sit. He also closed at Gulfstream on a day where nobody else made a move all day. I may have squeezed all I can out of him taking a shorter than expected price in the Peter Pan, but Pletcher has this one running as good as anyone in this race.
As for High Finance, the reason he hasn't run more than 8f yet is because they don't card many maiden races at those distances. I'll toss him confidently.

![]() Pretty bold to say a horse never going more than a mile against maidens will have no problem going 12f in a G1. Besides, Conquistador Cielo really hasn't been a strong source of stamina as a sire. If I recall, his Belmont, though impressive, was aided by a sloppy track.
