Now after reading this thread, I can't wait to watch the race. My nephew is going to get the boot in a minute.

This horse is a great one. This horse is not only going to be one of the best to ever run, but with his breeding he will be one of the big impact horses on the breed.

And I am not a fan of the Darley people.

Bold i agree with alot of what you say but that last statement was way out there. "One of the best to ever run". Please he won the belmont and a beat 4 weak horses in the slop. Can we wait for him to trounce everyone in the travers then the bcc before we name him king of horse world. No doubt the horse has a beautiful stride and has immense talent but no one knows how good that horse is.

I get the feeling he will trounce everyone in both of those races.

And i would tend to agree with you. I think he has a great shot but you can't call this horse one of the best to ever run off a belmont win and a jim dandy win. The horse has to be able to show up for the big races. If he can win the bcc i will be happy to say hes the best horse i have ever seen. But its going to be a very tough road.

Bernardini won the Preakness, Jazil won the Belmont.

He beat some suspect stock but otherwise he looked good doing it. He was really geared down for much of the last 1/2 of the race. We'll see who shows up for the other bigs ones and then I'll cast my vote. Just like with Barbaro anything can happen and change things in an instant. He's the best thing going right now for sure on the East Coast.
