not opinions that only agree with the owner, but your seconditis crap is idiotic. She ran an amazing race, yeah she had a great trip but if she would have figured out how to change her leads without weaving she would have been in the winners circle. You seem to forget she only lost by a head and she fought hard. It was pretty spectacular considering she broke her maiden for 15k at mountaineer. I dont own this horse either but she has zero case of seconditis. Shes just finished 2nd to some really nice horses. Chucks only had her for a couple months and hes had to completely re-train her. 50k allowance is a huge purse, she's running at a top level.

gosh

Again....this is just my opinion. I dont see it as silly, but if thats what you think thats fine. But she sat right behind a speed horse who figured to chuck it on the turn and easily went around her. To me that is a perfect trip. The winner had to go wide around her. It really doesnt get much better than that. She is a nice horse who got beat by a better horse. Now in her next if she doesnt get a perfect set up and wins then I will be the first to say congrats.

Curlin did not have an easy trip and was as gutsy as a horse can get to comeback and beat SS who had a better trip. There is no comaprison between todyas race and The Preaknes.

I tend to agree with you but she did go 4w and had problems getting over to correct lead again. Martinez helped her into it. Sometimes they just don't want to do it. I think what people are impressed with is that she had every reason to quit today and didn't, i didn't see how she galloped out, anyone see?

She has ran in 2 races in which she had a somewhat easy trip and got 2nd...and had a perfect set up..and ran 2nd. Sounds like seconditis to me. It's not like its a bad thing...still collecting some nice checks with decent purses. She obviosuly is running in the right place and has been spotted very well by Simon in her last two.

Christ...its just one person's opinion. It's not like I am on here saying that some of the outlandish things being said at times are crap. These people have every right to state what they think..just like me.

Like I stated earlier I thought the 2 would blow by her...and didnt. The horse is a gutsy one.

F*** the haters. . . Sumwon ran a great race and all the owners should be proud. . . Congrats to Chuck and Steve especially- what they've done is very impressive. . . Hope she comes back healthy and keeps improving. . .

i have to agree she had a good trip. Rated nicely made a great move, her problem was changing her leads. If that would have happened 'correctly', ya'll would have a picture.

just wondering (not being a richard) why do you feel she didnt have a good trip?

She ran fantastic, game as hell.. got bumped out of the gate, and bumped top of the stretch, which certainly didn't help.

Again with the names. I wont go all postal and drop down to your level. I could care less that you own the horse. I love the thinking on here.....if someone agrees with you they have a great opinion..if they disagree their opinion means nothing. You sound like a bit of a child.

In all honesty if you didnt see todays trip as a very good/perfect one than either you are being blinded by your involvement/ or have not seen too many races.

I guess Steve should lock certain threads like these to only people who all agree.

Good luck with everything......DUDE.

Sumwon ran a gutsy race, Chuck found a nice one and good luck in the future with her.

Thank you. You are exactly 100 percent right. If the horse won I woulda posted CONGRATS. Just posting what I saw.

Certain people on here are being ridiculous with their attacks. They are being downright childish and I aint gonna drop to their level. It's not like I am saying anything negative.

I should just stay to conversing with my good buddy DrugS.

a perfect trip doesn't guarantee victory. . . that's the part of your argument that doesn't make sense. . .

yeah, maybe not perfect but it was a good trip. it is a horse race after all! she rated real nice i was impressed, and i was totally impressed with her courage, a lil' different lead change would have been all it took for a win.

I watched the race with a guy who's been in the biz his whole life. He said that when he started 50k was a decent stakes race. Also, to take a horse from the "bottom" ranks (where sumwon started) to finish a head out in a good allowance at churchill is rarely done (without the help of pletcher/allday of course).

You guys have yourselves a heck of a filly

Just got home and watched the race replay...another great effort in a tough race. Man this horse is a tough gutsy competitor!

Congrats to Steve, Chuck and all the owners. You should all be VERY proud. Keep it going...and keep getting those nice checks!

Man speaks the truth...

Chuck and his team, identified at auction a horse who broke her Maidem at Mountaineer in a claimer. Purchased her and trained her to run her eyeballs outan moving up in class in two out of three starts earning well over 50% of her purchase price.

Honestly feel like I was probably 5+ years from gettig in this game.

Me and everyone I know that is personally involved iin this, is having the time f'ng of our lives. Being involved with Filly, in whatever small way, is a true highllight for me.

BIG PROPS!!!
