Did you know that Snowball, the top jumper of the 1960s was a rescue? Owner/trainer got him out of the knacker's yard just in time; he was a mix of some kind, too, with a touch of draft blood in him.
Isn't that a great story? Please forgive me and you are close on his name, but it was Snowman.
