Can't complain. If she won and didn't get claimed I can't imagine we'd have many options from there.

Agreed with no pace pressure that was not bad at all...in it to the end.

Was she a gaining second or tiring late?? Did she ever have the lead in the stretch??
Congrats nonetheless...

Thanks in advance...

No gaining. Held at bay by the winner. The winner started to pull away at the top of the stretch and KnS was the only one that went after her, but she couldn't close the gap at all.

The 4 was claimed by Calabrese.

It was an open claimer. Had she won, she could run right back at the same condition or you bump her slightly. Or, for that matter, drop her and try to get a win and a claim, if you are so inclined.

That's good to know, she should be competitive at that level for a while if no one grabs her.

she ran a very solid second, considering that they let the 1 walk 1:14 and change she had no shot at winning, I am impressed she finished well being so close to the lead. Velez gets along nicely with her, nice job Chuck!

She ran very well considering the lack of pace. She tries very hard and was good in the paddock today which may have been due to TC schooling her about a hundred times since the incident. It seems like every time i called him the last 2 weeks he was either going to the paddock with her or coming back. Hope everybody that was there had a good time. The next condition book will be out soon and we will see if a similar spot appears. And if anyone knows about a rabbit we would be willing to rent one.

Agree it was a very solid effort for KnS. The #1 is a grizzled veteran (10 wins for 160K). Could she get a lifetime top BSF based on the 2 1/2 length loss to the #1 while running virtually the same race as last time out(1:39 for a mile on the poly) when Stage Glitter recieved a 73 BSF. Can't believe she was 8-5 at one point against this field. Great job by T.C. and the gang getting her ready again. Once again Chuck demonstrates his keen eye for horses with this claim. 6 starts/ 1-2-1 for 20K as a Dee Tee runner. IMO this horse still has room to improve as she got to the races very late and seems to still be learning. Congrats to everyone involved with Dee Tee Stables and thanks again to Steve and Chuck for letting me tag along.
