He said he would establish price based upon qty.Based on prices for art work @ the Spa that could be purchased I certainly would think $50 was high considering the possible volume we may bring to the table. If it's to expensive then we'll just pass & regroup.

Got this e-mail today. Are there any still interested at $75.00 a pop? (and then we'd have to ship them)

Scott and Randy, Forgive me for taking so much time responding with facts and figures on a print of "On The Rail" which was published in the Saratoga Special during August 2007. The print will be on archival watercolor paper printed by Stan Bowman Studio in Ithaca , New York. The print will be approximately 11" by 15" with an outside dimension of 15" by 20" including the mat. Each print will be signed in pencil. The cost is $75.00 per print. The minimum order would have to be 36 prints. An advance payment of $2000.00 is required before production can begin. The process will take approximately 3 - 4 weeks.

The entire edition with matting will be shipped FEDX or UPS to one location. Shipping is included. I hope that there is still interest and I look forward to working with you on this project. Many thanks for your interest in my work as an artist.

I think that price sounds fair and reasonable for this piece. I'm in. Plus extra for shipping a matted print.

35 more of you?

I guess you can count me in... that makes 7 (on the way to 36).

One question: is this the whole print from the newspaper, or just the image of Sumwon?

I am pretty sure it is the print of just her. That is what he attached to the e-mail. Anyone want to coordinate this effort in terms of shipping them all out? I'm terrible with shipping things. If they all get delivered to me they'll wind up sitting in my living room for months.

Scott,

You can have him ship them to me and the Stable will cover the subsequent ship out costs to everyone. I'd like Roberts to also release the image though for further use by us as part of this deal. If you want to handle that, please do, or send me his contact info.

well thank goodness! i figured it would be difficult to get someone to take on the task of accepting and then re-shipping the prints.

now we just need 36 buyers. 1/3 of the way there.
