![]() Mig took him to the lead on the inside and stayed on the inside the whole way. He was passed at the top of the stretch by the winner but all in all held pretty well. No sure if he runs best that way but his number 2 post sort of dictated the race that he ran.
All in all a good effort i thought

![]() Every race he's been in, he turns his head to the right coming off the far turn. It's as if something in the stands or the stands itself distracts him. He certainly has the speed.
We found a great sports bar here in Hilton Head that was willing to give us one of their big screen tv's so we could watch the race. The place was filled with NCAA fans. Nice place, friendly owner, good food and drinks, fair prices -Callahans on New Orleans Road if you ever have the need to watch a race in Hilton Head. ![]() Better luck next time, LD. ![]()

Nice race by Lloyd, as PSH noted, the post dictated Lloyd being on the engine, he broke well and Mig did not want to strangle him back. He should be set up for a big effort next time out. Much more professional today, none of the rankness or greeness we saw in the first two starts. It is too bad that we ended up going from outside to inside on the redraw. He certainly put the Assman's horse away though! |
