Of those listed I like Nobiz Like Showbiz. I think hes still developing mentally and the Remsen was the absolutely perfect prep. He didn't have to run too taxing of an effort to win, yet it layed two turn foundation into him and answered the question about him going a distance. Hes a really nice horse.

Hard Spun is nice, but let's see him step up in competition before giving him a garland of roses.
I agree with O-man and No Biz looks good and has a lot of upside. Tiz Wonderful, Street Sense and CQ still rank right up there too. But if I had to choose right now, it would be No Biz Like Shobiz

I think Nobiz wins if he stays healthy and no total monsters pop up.

that you would say that Albert The Great can't get a Derby winner because you were assaulted in a bar for bad mouthing Albert The Great.

I think the two thoughts were independent of each other, but neither made much sense.

from what I have read from you Bid, you are a good person,
but you deserve whatever you get for saying anything negative about Albert The Great as a racehorse.

I would like to buy the guy who kicked your as* a beer.lol

I know if I heard something insulting towards Albert The Great, all 135 lbs of me would be swinging.

You guys are all insane for even talking about this stuff already. It is 90% possible that we haven't even seen the Derby winner yet on track, especially with the way trainers want to train up to the race. If anything, the horse probably hasn't won yet. Lets start talking about it in February when they would have had to debuted and won by then to be considered.

totally agree,
except for one point.

history tell us that the Derby winner does need to run at the age of 2.
so we MOST LIKELY have seen the Derby winner run(althoght not neccessarily win) in 2006.

still way too early to talk about a winner of a race run 6 months from now.

lol,
do people really shrink?

my grandmother swears she has shrunk.

Im still hoping to grow some, but at my age(mid 20's) Im coming to the realization its not going to happen.

i don't think its insane to talk about it. hell what else can we talk about?

i think most on here realize that its a long ways out and many that are being discussed will not get to the starting gate.

but scavs, i got to disagree with your percentage. i think its more like 90% likely that the derby winner has already been seen on a track. I don't think many derby winners have debuted after dec 3rd.

See Mike, I do know a little bit about what I am talking about...lol. Sorry, I couldn't help myself

The funny thing is that I'm changing my stance. As much as I hyped up Nobiz Like Shobiz and as much as I like Tagg, I've switched from Nobiz Like Shobiz to Asmussen's Tiz Wonderful for the time being. Of course, that will probably all change by the time the derby comes around. Nobiz Like Shobiz is my second choice.
