Thought I had a winner there at the head of the stretch. Mum's Truckee was truckin' I think I'm going to have to forget about winners and play them all to place.

Well at least she outran Brisnet's prediction. They had her picked 10th. Delmar handicapper didn't seem to like her much either.

Was great odds at 15-1 ML. Was surprised to see her open at 5-1. She drifted a bit and from 7 MTP to 5 MTP she dropped from 7-1 to 4-1. Some people clearly knew she was ready to roll today. Unfortunately, I think Maldonado rode her a bit too confidently, if there is such a thing.

Kudos to those that had the winner. I couldn't make a case for that horse at all except in hindsight and even then she didn't seem very impressive, but she had run the fastest at the distance behind Mum's Truckee and she was one of the few that had raced recently.
