The first time I saw her name (and before I watched the replay) I thought it said Arletta!

Huge fan of Ea and held my breath every time he would run so I am thrilled to post this link.

On Ea and his new friend, Hollywood Left:

Melbourne Cup winner, Fiorente has small tear to tendon and won't race again. Owners grateful they reached and won the holy grail.

Well damn... That is indeed unfortunate, but at least we get the chance of seeing his babies run now

I was curious about the old boy, and after noting he never did have progeny, I googled and found this: https://www.paulickreport.com/featur...ts-retirement/ It's from a few years ago. I assume his back never did get in a place where he could breed (assuming that's what the test breeding 'not going as planned' meant vs fertility issues since they were gonna try to go to stud again this last time).

If anybody knows how he's doing, it'd be nice to know.
