just read one article that claims the woman tried to ram her car thru the white house gates, couldn't do so, and sped to the capitol with police in pursuit...

a child was with her, but wasn't harmed. still seeing she's 'in custody' and also that she was killed by police....

scary stuff.

As another site pointed out, regarding the shots fired- the Capitol Police are currently working without pay, to protect the members of Congress, who are being paid.

looks like neither. seems from what i've read that the car chase and shooting ended at the capitol by chance, not by design...but who knows?
word that she's dead....or that she's in custody. but that's par for the course, with news outlets all wanting to be 'first', but not necessarily correct.
