Margo's pre-race analysis is just not replaceable.

Someone stated on the comments section of the Paulick report that Ness was not going back to Tampa this year. Now, obviously those have to be taken with the biggest grain of salt but if there is some validity to that, the place becomes bettable for those that are not center stage like some of our DT people.

![]() I haven't pulled Formulator on him in a while, but if he claimed one out of a dirt sprint and ran him first out 2 turns turf, his win rate was like 6% or something, yet they always took a ton of ![]() because his first off the claim % is generally in the high 30's. Great bet against opportunities as you get inflated prices on logical horses.I've learned to live with him. If he doesn't come back, I won't be doing cartwheels about it nor will I lose any sleep. will definitely have to alter my approach to wagering there though. Of course, Zaidie will be waiting in the wings to take his place. |

I'm sure Ness will increase his string at Oaklawn with their gargantuan purses. He sent more last year.

I have absolutely no information and this is just speculation but perhaps Midwest is looking to something a little different. Virtually every huge claiming operation eventually loses interest in winning 8000nw2 races.
