plus I don't know if you actually tried to give the dog pepto---but if it is anything like my older lab, good luck. I got more on me and the kitchen floor than in the dog.
HAHA!!! Mine does the same thing... she does the same thing my horse used to do and holds it in the back of her mouth and then spits it out all over! My life wouldn't be the same without animals, but good lord, they make it difficult! LOL

first i tried just letting him eat it...then i tried soaking a piece of bread in it...then I tried a wide mouth syringe like i was worming a horse...then I finally got a brain and went out and bought the tablets wrapped it in some cheese and viola! gone....still ended up at the vet though

Dogs do NOT vomit all the time. When a dog vomits it means there is a problem. DO NOT give it Pepto unless your vet tells you to. Get your dog to the vet ASAP. Old little dogs showing discomfort and vomiting is not just something that is going to pass by waiting and watching. Kidneys, liver etc. could be in danger if left untreated.

throwing up AND crying all night? Yes....take it to the vet.
It can't hurt getting there sooner rather than later.

Off topic, but I like your signature line... that is so true. If you don't ever take the shot, how do you know if you're going to make it? True...

Seattle Jerry,
I really hope your little doggie is doing fine.
I'm amazed that you got so many responses about the topic of "dog vomit".
Seriously, it makes me want to puke!

Thanks....I wish I could take credit for it but can't.

Wayne Gretzky's dad said that to him that when he was a kid. Guess it worked.
