Da Silva breaks 5 lengths behind the field, and slowly eases the horse to the pack on the inside in a 24 quarter. He then checks, drops to last, and then guns the horse on the outside on the turn, making up a ton of ground but is unable to catch the winner.

this is just another way to lose a race when ridiculously best
