Fun with computer rankings:

The Colley Matrix (used in the BCS) has a cool feature where you can add and subtract games to see how they would change the rankings. Adding Rutgers over WV, Rutgers over Cincy, and Ohio St over Michigan would make Rutger #1 and Ohio St #2. However, also adding Rutgers over Syracuse would drop Rutgers to #2. So Rutgers would be better off in the computer polls not playing Syracuse than by beating them 177-0.

The dream is ending tonight it seems.

20-3 in the 3rd quarter. Feeling ill.

Went to the game, it would have been better for the Big East to have Rutgers win, but being a UC Alum, I am glad they pulled it off. UC's got a nice defense and they played the toughest schedule in the NCAA: Ohio State, Va Tech, Louisville, West Virginia, and Rutgers, making a Bowl is a good accomplishment for them with that Schedule and being a borderline Big East School. I hardly recognized the place, they have really fixed it up, too bad it's in the middle of a war zone, but maybe they can get the kids that don't go to Ohio State and field a good team. Rushing the field was kind of weak, glad I left before they did that, Rutgers is good, but can't believe that you would be so excited to beat Rutgers that you rushed the field. I think I may go to some more games next year, nice place and they serve beer at the games.
