when they pay $111.50 and you go 4 deep it would be the Milky Way galaxy. From the guy who puts out 5 or 6 hosses in most races ? Too much time using public transportation, which in Boston, is for people who don't own a car. |

Really classless to bust anyone about losing picks. It is a tough game in which we participate.

Are you kidding me. Andy makes fun of everyone that disagree's with his opinion. I have never figured out if just his shtick or if he's really as arrogant as he comes across. Either way what goes around comes around. |

how is that busting someone about losing picks ? Surly was downplaying Byks awesome spotting of a 50-1 shot, who he had as an exotics use, just because he was 4th on the 4 hoss totem pole. Meanwhile he lists 5 or 6 hosses every race. Oh and it's not schtick, he was that arrogant even as a teenager. |

spending $30 and boxing 5 hosses in 12-14 hoss fields can be very profitable./
just went on talking hosses website. For friday in races 1 3 4 5 6 8 he has 5 selections, in race 9 he has 6. Care to respond mr. Hoss ? |

He's too stupid to realize I am just doing my job, and giving extra picks to facilitate things for people in the TV truck in the case of scratches, as those picks are sent in at least two days in advance. Of course, I don't even give myself credit when I pick winners, much less EVER pat myself on the back for 2nd through 4th choices that might win. I am doing what is required for my job. Personally, I wouldn't give out choices at all, as the actual point is to stimulate discussion of the races, but the customers want picks, 1-4 for superfecta races, and the customer's needs come first.

As Bos mentions above, discussed on radio Wednesday that strictly from a pedigree standpoint and as a big price, Noosh's Tale was a horse you probably wanted to include in your plays somehow. As a half to Yield Bogey he had plenty of license to put it together at some point and the prior two starts were not to be held against him with the off turf and saddle slip incident. As Andy points out, I hardly expected him to win and didn't bet him straight, but since it was a modest field, it was a good place to tinker and use a seemingly impossible type.
