Browns ahead already and WEed Wacker hasn't tossed a pass yet.

It appears to this untrained eye that Weed Wacker is the re-incarnation of Derek Anderson (who also wore number 3!!), an arm that at times makes you say wow, but in the end dumber than a bag of hammers. He throws behind receivers half the time, and the other half of his perfect throws the receivers drop half of them. It's not a good combination for winning. They really know how to lose though. Very good at it.

AS you stated earlier, Phil Dawson is simply superb at kicking field goals, best in the league, so there's that.

I did not see the game as per usual.

But they do show good signs here and there. The only problem is the good signs were bad signs in prior games when other signs were good.Today those former good signs were bad signs.

Maybe that's some form of strange progress; perhaps in the next 3 years they will get everyone moving in the same direction.

Francona seems like a nice guy.I think there are more important faces that the team needs...that being players.Competent players.Signing a guy who no one else wanted and who had no spring training....this must stop.

One good sign today is that instead of focusing on stopping the run or the pass, they decided to focus on neither so they were able to stop nothing. To be fair their best run defender, Jackson was hurt most of the game and their best pass defender, Haden has missed 4 straight games. That really helps nothing. They are competetive for chunks of games but never for a whole game, I guess that's part of being the youngest team in the NFL. You would think they can compete with Cincy next week, but I think they'll figure out a way to lose. They do get Haden back which should help pass defense.

Tribe management was actually counting on Sizeless to fill the outfield gap prior to the 2012 season. Now that's saying something as to the front office. I used to defend them somewhat. Poor Grady is now a full body concussion. In the end I really don't care about Francona. No one could have won 70 games with the starting pitchers they threw out there this year.

The Browns' average age is 15.7.That might be the problem.

I agree, Alomar would have been the better choice.

Sizeless' signing....only the Indians front office is capable of doing the things they do.They fell for Sizeless' claim that his heart was still here. "I love the Tribe. After all,I took more money to come back."
