Hoping for Shez Sinsational to be back at her best in this.
Agree on Sacred Falls and Antonio (I kinda wish the nice owners of Mr. The Hombre would put him in an easier spot one time so he can get a win. I know that isn't right, thinking that way, but he always seems to be almost as good as the best horses in the field. Am I crazy?)...

Oh my God this field? How many G1 winners are here?

Yes I hope it's Ms. Sinsational too but soooo many nice horses here.

You are so lucky to be going!!!!! Wish I were.

YEA!!!!!!!

Hahahaha Are you kidding me?

Fritzy Boy won????!!!!!

Fantastic!

And She IZ Sinsational!!!!! How exciting for you to have been there!

Results are so slow to come and I have no idea past the first 4 so please let me know where Mr. The Hombre ended up and that everyone made it home safely.

Oh and how good was Sacred Falls this time?

Will watch replays tomorrow. About to run out for a bite but had to check on the kids in NZ and I am just thrilled and can't even imagine how great it is to be there!

Lucky!

edit - Oh Aspinal... she was the girl who came flying at the end in some race Vonusti was in. I'll have to watch her replays. What a nice girl!

Finally watched two of the replays anyway...

Absolutely spectacular win by SS and oh wow Fritzy Boy... that was really nice.

Watching The Hombre this time looked like a merry go round but with one oversized horse.

You are SO lucky to have been there!

Sacred Falls... wow. That was unbelievable. He's a very special horse.

And it was so great to see SS back on her game! She's amazing. Four G1s for her now.

What an incredible effort by Fritzy Boy! 60kg on his back - I think that was a weight-carrying record for this race.

Good luck to Mufhasa.

I don't think he'll win this one but expect him to be right behond Ms. Joyous.

Of course if I'm wrong that's fine.

What do you think, ed?

It's hard for both of them with the big weights they have to carry, but I'm sure he'll make it hard for anyone to get past him, as he always does. He's one of the toughest and most determined horses of the last decade.

Ocean Park looks like a good chance in the Caulfield Stakes!

And Ocean Park wins!

Mufhasa was a little bit disappointing. I thought he was ridden a bit further back in the field than he'd normally be - he's better on or near the lead all the way than having to pass horses in the stretch.

Sarten Memorial on Monday. Last three winners have been Katie Lee, We Can Say It Now and Antonio Lombardo. And look at this field. There's no way this should only be a G3!

2 11X11 Sacred Falls 7 82 56.5 Leith Innes Tony Pike & Mark Donoghue, Cambridge
3 12X96 Magic Shaft 9 81 56.5 Lisa Allpress John Sargent, Matamata
4 57X34 Travino 1 72 56.5 Opie Bosson Peter & Jacob McKay, Matamata
5 128X2 Rollout The Carpet 5 82 54.5 Mark Du Plessis Jeff McVean & Emma-Lee Browne, Cambridge
6 1X1 Pure Elegance 4 78 54.5 Jason Waddell Steven Ramsay & Julia Ritchie, Maungatautari

Two undefeated star 3yos, Sacred Falls and Pure Elegance. Also Warhorse, Rollout The Carpet, Fix... Incredible field.

We have the G1 Levin Classic today. With the best 3yos injured or resting, it's come up a little bit weak.

11 513 Big Iron 5 65 56.5 Noel Harris Tim & Margaret Carter, Cambridge
12 X0132 Coastal Express 15 73 54.5 Sam Spratt Karen Zimmerman, Otaki
13 X2151 Park Princess 12 70 54.5 Johnathon Parkes Fraser Auret, Marton
14 49246 Soriano 8 70 54.5 Opie Bosson Graeme & Debbie Rogerson, Tuhikaramea
15 6X362 Pouri Chimes 13 67 54.5 Danielle Johnson Jeff McVean & Emma-Lee Browne, Cambridge
16 312 High Fashion 2 65 54.5 Hayden Tinsley Kevin Gray, Copper Belt Lodge, Palmerston North

Touch Win looks hugely talented, and I like Le Choix too.

Better Than Ever was meant to make his NZ debut on the undercard, but he's scratched.
