It will be interesting to see how the shippers perform -- vanning into Iowa when it's 100 degrees outside isn't ideal.

In terms of paper picks here, one of my big angles is showing a bias to locally based horses and against shippers on summer days when the weather is most extremely hot.

The trainers that have shipped in are not liking the condition of track.

I heard it is possible that Lopresti will scratch Successful Dan.

I just wish the track announcer could find other words to use besides " right there".

Fort Larned got loose through a 24.57 1st quarter.

Got his final furlong in 11 4/5.

i don't think anyone could have done anything else with dan-he was clearly a victim of the pace. leparoux might be due criticisms on occasion, but i don't think was one of those tiimes.
