Reminds me of the group who tried to hang a Supreme Court Nominee about 10yrs ago for using the words pubic hair in mixed company! Of course it might have been racist as the poor guy happened to be african american.

Except of course the guy ended up on the Supreme Court while the woman ended up censured, so in fact your analogy doesn't apply at all.
