@DRFGrening: Owner Shivanada Parbhoo just called to say that Giant Ryan was euthanized earlier today. Laminitis began to set in. Surgery not possible.

@DRFGrening: Parbhoo: "Ryan was unbelievable to us. This hit us really, really hard. We love this horse more than anything. It's very, very sad."

A terrible loss for the Parbhoos, and very sad news for his fans - count me among them.
