Not his biggest fan but I thought Smith did a decent job on Paynter. Horse was gagging in my opinion and most other jockeys would have moved earlier.

Smitty blaming himself for going to the left hand and leaving the rail open. My question is how can that happen in such a big race after you have ridden over 10 thousand races? An error that even an apprentice shouldnt make.
