I always wanted to see Richards, Carter and Gagne hoist the cup. It was supposed to be in orange though.

If they had a goaltender half as good as Quick, your dream would have probably come true.

There was a Simon Gagne sighting? Who knew?

I still think it's mildly humorous that the Kings basically traded Jack Johnson for Mike Richards and Jeff Carter.

ETA - well, not exactly.

Bumping after another big win by the Devils Saturday night. If they bring the pain again tonight and keep making the Kings pay for every decision they make they just might pull this off tonight. That said, I am thinking 2-1 Kings in double OT.

I'm not the biggest hockey fan in the world, but leaving your goalie in with 5 minutes to go and down 4-1 seems pretty idiotic. At least try to get it to 4-2 with an extra man. Do they care if they lose 6-1 or something?

Congrats to the Kings, finished off a tremendous run in grand fashion.
