It's pretty amazing when you think about it. She was pretty much retired midway through 2005. She came back and beat a garbage field. Many people, myself included, wrote her off in the 2005 BC. She ran a very terrific second. Then she comes back this year ( and even later last year ) with a vengance and has a GREAT season, with her only subpar finish being completely due to a poor trip/ride, and then dominates the BC again.
She's more than a throwback and, as Watchmaker said in his column in tomorrow's DRF, the kind of horse for which the Hall of Fame was created. |

I looked at a friend sitting next to me on Saturday and asked him how anyone on the world could bet any other horse but her in the F&M Turf. 6/5 was a gift as I thought she towered over that field by a mile. |

WAW beating Lady of Venice, Dancing Edie, etc.... vs. OB beating Alexander Goldrun, Electrocustionist...2nd behind Shirroco... No way in heck could I even think about WAW.... I know that is easy to say after the fact Joey...but I just thought OB was tons the best. The thought of using another horse in the F&M Turf on my early Pick 4 ticket never crossed my mind. |

Wish there were more like her, what a great horse, I am glad I got to see her run in Texas...That must have been cool to have everyone clap for her, she more than deserved it...
