The rail bias on the main track helped. Brother Derek would not have lasted as long as he did without the rail trip. Invasor's time looked slow because he came from the outside

Street Sense made the day for me. It would've been a sorry day without that score.

I'll cast a vote for Street Sense...it was also Denman's worst call of the day...SS got an afterthought call at the top of the stretch, and then not another until practically under the wire....Denman was concentrating on the faves...

Ouija Board for me. She was magnificent.

Street Sense ran well, but I dont know how good that field was. I doubt very seriously there is a legit Derby horse coming out of that pack

None of those horses have to be. Obviously if there is one in that group its him.

He came 3rd, but with all the bashing about him scratching and not wanting to go. BOS ran pretty good I thought.

We talk about Street Sense and the golden rail. The think that made it was the great job Calvin did . If you look back he was 1/2 jump from getting cut off and squeezed back with no chance of winning. he went from 5th or 6th at the best to leading in about 3 strides with a great job by Calvin. Lotta horse but maybe one of the best rides you will see. My other contender Doug Oniel, All of his horses ran well with Lava Man being the exception but overall his horses over performed.

Badge ran huge, needed just one more and he would have won. Indeed a great job by Bobby.

Still to me OB's got to be the best

Thinking about it, the Churchill RAIL was the most impressive of the day. I hate it when the track superintendants take it upon themselves to play a role in $20M worth of purse money.

This comment just make Invasor's race much more impressive.
