Posters on here and Cot Campbell whining and complaining about the image of horse racing portrayed by Luck?
A couple of episodes ago Ace wrote a check for $376,000 for retired race horses. Here's a story about real horses starving. http://www.thoroughbredtimes.com/nat...-in-miami.aspx

sumitas loves this show. That is a strong indicator that it is catering to morons.
My teeth were grinding while they were waiting for the stewards decision in the grandstand. ***** please. It would take a full hour to get crippled f.uck in the winners circle. |

Maybe in Cot's world anything negative about horse racing should also be censured.

![]() Luck -on demand. I watched all episodes from start to latest in one day. I like it....albeit I am sometimes expecting Dustin to say "two hundred forty seven two hundred forty seven" aka Rain Man.

FTFY Geeker - though I'm not the biggest House of Lies fan, it's ok, but find myself switching back to HBO to get mah Kenny Powers fix and then not even watching HoL on DVR.

I don't know what others think, but last night's episode of Luck, was, in my opinion, far and away the best of the series, and really catapulted the show into the full HBO standard quality we've come to expect. I was fine with it before, enjoyed it, great racing scenes, etc - but last night was the best, and should really hook viewers that might have been loose on the tether.

It was an o.k. episode. Predictable, yet o.k.
Now we have a show that is the Sopranos at the race track. Yawn. This is what happens when you are more concerned with style over substance. A big shiny production. |

maybe the AHA and PETA should spend one day as a claims adjuster for equine insurance. Maybe they'd gain some perspective.

As a reminder Honu, when is your speaking part coming up in the series? I'm a big fan of the series but that's allready been established. It was cool to see Bob Baffert at the track too in a prior episode.
I just searched this thread and Honu said she was in episode 7. About where in episode 7 ? My guess : on the track attending to the filly that was pulled up.
