Any of you fellers need a date to take with you? I can be ready in no time at all.

In any case, best of luck to each of you. I hope you come in 1,2,3 and take all the cash.

Very cool that each of you are going.

Good luck to our DTers!

The NHC is a truly special event. Some malign the format, the exclusivity, or other aspects. However, the feeling of the entire crowd of hardened horseplayers going nuts as the field turns for home in a mandatory race was awesome.

For you first timers, don't be a one-hit wonder like me who hasn't been back since 2009.

Seriously? I mean, 25k to enter this for I'm sure a prize pool TBD. But only 10k to enter the Main Event @ the WSOP for upwards of, what, $8-11 million?

As someone who rarely plays tournaments, I'm curious how much money on average do most qualifiers spend during a year in their attempts to qualify?

$25K is ridiculous, but do most people spend $2 or $3K in contest fees to attempt to get in?

Rick Reynolds.. 'Big Blue' from Auburn, AL, in Dee Tee and his first NHC..

Sheldon Usprech.. 'Immanuel Kant'. Canadian invader back for 3rd NHC..

GOOD LUCK GUYS!
