Hoss, you post on all kinds of things here. SOME people only come out of the woodworks when Vic posts, which leads me to believe he is purposefully yanking their chain. I get that, but I seriously doubt anyone is sitting around waiting for a topic about Vic to come up so they can post.

To be honest, if I knew posting about Vic would get Stonegossard posting more, I'd start a Vic thread every week.

I posted the article here and on other sites because his words made feel AWFUL. To get ripped like that cuts to the core justified or not. Racecalling is my professional life. I live and die with every call. I hoped sharing the column would cause people to say positive things which I needed at the time. Probably should have slept on it, cowboyed up and not reached out in a moment of weakness.

When I read the article I thought that there had to be some sort of past between the two. The article is so over the top, that it's ridiculous. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the call.

I guess it was a really slow week, news wise in the industry. Or just maybe the guy is just really friendly with Wrona and is just trying give his guy a leg up at Vic's expense. Who knows, who cares? I feel like the writer comes across terribly in this piece. It's so skewed, that he must have some sort of agenda against Vic. It's that obvious.

Osterman wants to talk about bad journalism, maybe he should take a look in the mirror. With all that's wrong in the sport he chooses to use his platform to rip apart a guy who does his job with personality, character and feeling.

The tour ended a while back. I only posted as a shout out to my man Hoss. Hope you enjoyed PJ20......I didn't...thought is could have been much better.

On a serious note Vic has thrown a ton of fastballs down the middle over the months, but I refrained. Is like playing T-Ball....you can't miss. Others have done a fine job knocking them out of the park. The last time I chimed in he said some very dumb things to me on a public forumn which could have cost him his job.

I kinda feel bad for the guy....that's what he wants anyways with this thread....mission accomplished.
