That's a shame for Zito and the connections... better to find out now, then after.

Maybe Im crazy, but I thought he figured as much as anyone else after the top 2 favorites (Bord and HH).

He was a tough one. He's obviously very fast, but I had the feeling he's better at 7-8 furlongs rather than 6.

yeah,
same here.
but I was watching the works and stevens was saying that when he rode him he was all speed.
said it did not matter who else was in the race, he was going to outrun them to the front.
found that interesting.

he does hold the track record at 6.5f at Belmont right?
anyway, I think 6f might be short of his best as well.
wish he could stay more sound.
if he does, I bet he wins a Met Mile or Cigar Mile before he is done racing.

Yeah, that's why I wanted him in because I don't think he could matchup with the 6f specialists all things considered, and he would have taken a fair amount of money.

It is not so much fragile, but what running a -5 TG number does to a horse. Can you say Bellamy Road anyone? Same scenario except Zito really didn't rush this one back, per say....

Bellamy Road is a huge, heavy horse...Commentator is a little, nimble guy...he is hardly as hard on himself as BR was....
