Boise St is trash. This Bama team would destroy them.

Kind of reminded me of US vs. Russia cold war standoff. I know Lee made some mistakes, but he should still be the QB from here on out. Watching Jefferson move an offense down the field is like watching someone pull a train with their teeth.

Les was thinking that although Jefferson wasn't going to put up many points, he wasn't going to turn over the ball either. Les was going to let his D win it for him.

You are correct. Les realized early that our D was stopping them, at least enough to keep them from scoring. He felt this was the way to win this game. Lee is still the QB. He would have made the throw on the busted zone play and they would have put a TD on the board. Bama didnt threaten the end zone.

I'm sure I will get killed for this but if you dont trust your QB to make a single play and you dont have a competent kicker then you probably dont deserve to play in the NC game over a no loss team from a major conference.

i remember the game a few years back with osu/mich, that didn't pan out either. long ways to go before it's all decided.
no doubt some would say how can bama go back-but who deserves it over them right now? it went to ot, no loss in regulation for them. oh, and go unlv!

i'm just glad lsu came out on the winning side of this one. losing a close game like that is a bitter pill to swallow.

Main reasson I made this play.... I think Bama's QB is pretty average, and thats being kind.

today they weren't. lee had done well all year, not turning over the ball. we'd gone quite a while without a turnover, they were costly for both sides tonight. d's played outstanding ball, made both offenses look mediocre at best.

andrew luck will be fine against nfl defenses in a year or two. he'd be okay against either lsu or alabama.
it'll never happen but stanford against either one would be a far better game than what we just saw. |
