I'm sure the Redskins would welcome Jason Campbell back with open arms after he heals from the collarbone fracture.

It's amazing, but if they were willing to give up 2 #1 picks, I bet that they could have done much better than Carson Palmer. Not that I'm a huge fan, but you would think that Dallas would have to give that package some serious consideration for Tony Romo.

3 #1's may get you Luck instead of someone who has shown NOTHING after coming off his injury

I heard they could have gotten Orton for a 6th rounder. Not that Orton's any good, but for that price I think he plays just as well as Palmer will or very close.

Good Point about Luck, especially if it's the Colts at #1.

I wonder how the offense will react from going to a mobile QB to a guy who's like a statue back there.

There had to be much better/cheaper options out there than Palmer. Besides, what do they do with Campbell next year after giving up 2 potential #1 picks?

They can't even justify this with they want to win now line. Palmer hasn't played in 10 months, I don't care how much he has been working out and he is coming into a new system. I'm waiting for a report that this is a Sid-Finch like hoax. It is that bad a deal.

I am a cowboys fan and would happily take that deal.

Why not just start Pryor, he is eligible now and has worked out with the team.

I honestly was thinking the same thing, on 2nd thought it looks like he wasnt even eligible to practice with the team, he could only be in team meetings. So I can see why they were scrambling to find a QB

Seriously? Pryor makes Tebow look like Joe Montana.

I asked a Cowboy fan I work with the same question and he said he would do it in a heartbeat as well.

romo's biggest problem is he's always been over-rated. he's no worse now than he ever was. but he, much like his team, is picked each year to do something more. what i don't get is why people feel that the team or the qb will do better.
insanity-doing the same thing expecting a different result.

Yup. I never liked the guy from day one. Makes a few big plays while running for his life (and that was when they had an amazing line and running game) and everyone pegged him as something he wasn't. I want Jimmy Johnson back.
