Terrific lineup. Best Shadwell I've seen in years.

Yeah, why ride a horse with a big chance over one with no chance whatsoever. That Steve Rushing is such a dope.

Why would you say he has no chance whatsoever? He won 2 G1 this year and finished in the money 5 of his last 6. Won 2 of 3 starts at Kee. Came second to Turallure in his last race who ended up winning the Woodbine Mile.

Because he isn't good enough, he can't get the trip he needs, and his form has declined. Other than that, he looks very strong.

Ramon stayed on the right horse but your assessment of Get Stormy was exagerated.

I understand the politics of grading races but how synthetic versions of formerly important races retain their grades is almost criminal. One of the few good things the committee did years ago is downgrade then reexamine stakes taken off the turf. How synthetic races can remain on the same level as traditional races on turf and dirt is really a joke. At Keeneland alone going back to when the installed poly, how many graded races have been won by horses with weak form, before and after? This happens time and time again. Look at the Commonwealth

Dullahan's Trakus chart looks crazy. . . he lost an absurd amount of ground. He'll never do anything on dirt, but he might be a serious turf horse.

The race run Friday was the GIII Phoenix. . . I agree with your overall point, though.

You're just pissed the race was rained off the other day and you missed a chance to claim Together Indy for a quarter.
