Ditto, but I've got a good friend looking for one right now.

Then definately look into it for her Cajun. Should only be a few hundred to ship from NY right? Thinking $600 or so.

Probably closer to a grand. Still not too bad.

No not bad at all. Too bad I can't get a nice raise right now, but honestly, I would need a "bombproof" horse for right now not a project one. Especially since I am still sore from a fall on Friday!

This is an example of why life's not fair. Free horses being dangled in front of my very nose. When I wanted my first car what do I get? A kitten for my birthday instead. Funnily enough I had a kitten find me a few weeks ago. Apparently instead of being able to bear children, whenever I want one I'll just get a kitten instead.

My best friend got a new car and soon to be another doggie instead of children.

Funny, when anyone ever asks me if I am going to ever have kids, my response is "I have always wanted a horse, haven't wanted kids yet".

Life works in mysterious ways Merlinsky. I am very lucky in the situation that I have. I am kinda "free" leasing a horse right now. Just take care of him and baby some of their other horses and I get to ride for free. Sometimes I help by feeding too. Horse's owners are very nice and kind people.
