Johnny was just emotional at the time. The Rajiv I know would never do such a thing but would surely middle move wide into any pace scenario and come up wanting late.

I want to say there's no way on earth he or any professional would do such a thing, take a risk like that, potentially endanger other jockeys or horses but I'm suddenly trying to figure out if I'm being naive in thinking this way.
In my heart of hearts though no. No way. |

Velazquez is completely unprofessional to make such an accusation in public. The stewards will sort it out Wednesday. If Johnny still has a problem after that, he can physically fight Rajiv in the hall outside the stewards room, so we can read about that.

Rajiv would probably throw a punch prematurely and punch some valet in the face.

If Velasquez thinks this is what happened than he should have beat the crap out of him on Saturday. I think he has a right to go public with it if asked. Why is this unprofessional? I would want people to look at and form their own opinions not just the stewards. If incidents like this became more public it would prevent people from giving mounts to riders who use such horrible judgement.

How are these two item related? What does Irwin being a blowhard have to do with this. Velasquez was asked on a conference call on Sunday morning and gave his opinion about the Belmont Stakes. He was not giving his opinion on the state of the game. I'm for more transparency in the sport, not hiding things from the Public. I thought for sure with your political lean, more transparency would be better.

Wow. Seriously? Because they are both speaking publicly about the sport, and making public allegations of illegal activity.
