I stayed at the Ace in January. The rooms are nice enough, but in 22 degree weather, I couldn't believe just how many people were actually waiting to get into a lobby bar at 1:30 a.m.

I get that, but the place is a funky lobby bar. It was just hard to believe that was where the cool kids were going these days.

I'm old school. Phuck these places with 200 square foot rooms and the beds on the floor. I don't need to be in a bar, elbow to elbow, with a bunch of douche bags who lie about working at hedge funds. That's an old line that doesn't get em laid.
